The following report in the Delany Golf Day comes from the newsletter of Patrician Brothers College, Fairfield.

On Friday the 11th October, 84 players gathered on a perfect cloudy and fine day at Cabramatta Golf Club to participate in the 16th annual Patrician Cup Golf Day. The format for the day is a 4 person Ambrose event which allows for all types of golfers to take part. The day begins with breakfast and a 8:00 am 'shotgun' start.
Whilst the day is a community day aimed at raising funds for the Delany Foundation, there were 21 teams who played on the day. The competition was very strong for the Patrician Cup and it came down to a count back to determine the day's winners. The eventual winners of the day were 'Br Matthew's Godsons' - David Gatt, Andy Chu, Attilio Labbozzetta and Corey Holden, with a score of 15 under par. This year's Br Bernard Bulfin Shield recognising the winning putt was won by 'Fairway Floggers'.
The day concluded with a very successful raffle with over 25 prizes. Thanks to all the participants on the day and as a result, $15,347 was donated to the Delany Foundation.
